A. Release
I hereby give to Kalospix Photography the absolute and irrevocable right and permission with respect to the photographs taken of myself and/or my minor child, in which I may be included with others:
a) To copyright the same in the photographer's name or any other name that he/she may select;
b) To use, re-use, publish and re-publish the same in whole or in part, separately or in conjunction with other photographs, in any medium now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever, including (but not by way of limitation) illustration, promotion, advertising and trade.
I hereby release and discharge the photographer from all and any claims and demands ensuing from or in connection with the use of the photographs, including any and all claims for libel and invasion of privacy.
B. Liability
The photographer is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) are responsible for their children and for themselves, and release the photographer from any claims against their person or their business.
C. Copyright & Penalty
Kalospix Photography retains all copyrights to all images created during the client's session. A print release is given with digital files to print portraits for personal use. This does not allow publication (e.g. contests, magazines, other publications), selling, or altering of images or video without the photographer's written permission.
It is illegal to copy, scan, download, print, share, alter, or otherwise steal any image or video created by Kalospix Photography during a session without proper written permission — this applies to sneak-peek images or videos, images posted in the online proofing gallery, social media, or blog, and printed images. Stolen images/video will be invoiced at the photographer's current price per file.
Depending on the type of shoot, Kalospix and the client will agree on the number of images or video clips delivered (digital or printed) after editing, if needed. This process generally takes less than 45 days unless otherwise agreed, depending on the type of work and amount of editing required.
A note from the photographer: I work very hard to create images that reflect you, while keeping in line with my artistic vision and creativity. I know you'll want to share them, and I understand that. I simply ask that you link back to my website or social media pages instead of saving and re-sharing the image from your own page — I hope you'll respect the time, money, and dedication that goes into the equipment and training behind these images.
